  • Welcome to Zuhrtime!

At certain times on Earth always appear phenomena reflecting a luminous, spiritual culture from glorious past times which had been misinterpreted and appropriated by mischievous forces in history. With the mercy and permission of The All-Embracing, the richness of such culture can manifest anew… It may take centuries for it to be disclosed anew to the world yet when it does reappear, it is recognizable because its grace has always remained in the memory and historical records of the people whose ancestors witnessed its grandeur afore time.

In the Islamic tradition, Zuhr, the Arabic word for noon is the name of the second daily prayer. The minutes preceding Zuhr prayer time are known to represent a sacred moment during which the gates of Heaven open, whence the appropriate time for prayer and contemplation of the Divine Reality.

Zuhrtime is a concept that symbolizes the urgent call to the awakening of our innermost being, the divinely-breathed Spirit in each of us that ever works at expressing its higher attributes amidst the vanity of an ego-driven world institutionalized to be in disharmony with The Divine.

Since the richness of a civilization is determined by its arts and culture, the Zuhrtime portal aims to disseminate and preserve the Islamic arts of Malian~Gabonese author poet painter philosopher Aïda Touré. Her work's diverse octaves all are a testimony of the splendor, wisdom and universality of Islam.
